Citrus Singers is an evening choir run in three different areas of Dorset, Monday in Oakdale, Poole. Tuesday in Rossmore, Poole. Wednesday in Sandford, Wareham.
Morning choirs include, Sing & Grin, Monday mornings. Balance Choir on Tuesday mornings and Hidden Voices on Friday mornings.
Academy Singers is a Junior Choir and is on Wednesday evenings.
The type of singers within Citrus are all people who love to sing, not experts of professional singers, but people who want to have fun and sing with like minded people.
All the sessions are run by Tim Dowland - Musical Director with either backing tracks or acoustic Guitar. All harmonies and arrangements are created a broken down in sections to help everyone remember and understand them.
Unlike other choirs Citrus Singers has either LOW - MID - HIGH singers, this gives people the opportunity to sing in other places and improve their range and ability. Citrus Singers are always working on new songs from all genres of music from all decades. Recent songs we are learning include:
